Accessibility Statement

Kovetz PDF (kovetz.co.il) strives to enable all visitors, including people with disabilities, to make full and equal use of the services it offers. We invest ongoing effort and resources in improving accessibility, based on the principle that the right to an accessible service is a fundamental right.

Accessibility was implemented in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 2013, and Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on the W3C WCAG 2.1 guidelines.

The site conforms to the Israeli Standard (IS 5568) for web content accessibility at conformance level AA, as well as the WCAG 2.1 guidelines at Level AA.

Accessibility is tested and maintained on an ongoing basis, and is applied across the vast majority of the site's pages and its core PDF processing tools.

The site includes an accessibility widget, available on every page via the accessibility icon. Among other things, it allows:

• Increasing and decreasing text size
• Adjusting color contrast and grayscale mode
• Highlighting links and headings
• Using a readable font and increased line spacing
• Highlighting the cursor and pausing animations

In addition to the widget, the site was designed accessibly and includes:

• Full keyboard navigation (Tab) without requiring a mouse
• Semantic heading structure and ARIA labels for screen readers
• Alternative text (alt) for images and functional icons
• Support for right-to-left (Hebrew) and left-to-right (English) directionality
• Standard color contrast between text and background, including dark mode

Despite our efforts to make all parts of the site accessible, some components may not yet be fully accessible:

• Content inside PDF files uploaded by the user or generated by the tools is not under our control, and its accessibility depends on the source file.
• Some visual editing tools (the PDF editor, signature creation, region marking) are based on a graphical canvas, where full keyboard navigation is inherently limited.
• There may be third-party components not under our full control.
